Hi friends! Dani from PopFizzPaper here and today I'm sharing tutorial on how to make a shaker bookmark! These would be great for easy gifts and can be used in books, journals, planners, and more. To see how I made this card, keep reading!
Here are the supplies I'm using for this project:
To get started, I cut down the
heart papers to 6"x2". I also laid out the combinations of
bows, papers,
potion mixes I wanted to use for each bookmark.
Next, I slid the paper piece into the clear sleeve and pushed it right into the edges. I added some sequins, then sealed up the remaining 2 open sides of the bookmark. I tried not to go overboard with the potion mix because I wanted the bookmark to lay fairly flat once all the sequins and bits were spread out.
Once I the sides were sealed up well, I took scissors and trimmed away the excess clear sleeve.
The last step was to add a big sparkly bow! You can use a glue gun for this, but I found the adhesive tabs to work really well. Use whichever you prefer!
And that's it for today's blog post! If you plan to make these bookmarks, which papers/bow/sequin combos would you use? Let me know down below! Also tag and
follow me @popfizzpaper on INSTAGRAM and YOUTUBE to so I can check out your projects. Thanks for reading, and have an awesome day!
