8x8 papers card tutorial cardmaking chosen one collection digital collections love bites love bites collection made by amador papercakes design team papercrafting silhouette tutorial slay it girl slay it girl collection thank you cards

Hello, Amador here and for today's project I wanted to make some Thank You cards with the Papercakes Slay It Girl” and “Chosen One” collections. I made several A2 size cards with the patterns from the Slay it girl collection 8x8 papers. I used the print and cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo to create 4” by 5.25” bases for my cards. I used the lighter pastel patterns for the bases because they are offset beautifully by the black card bases.

I also used several of the 3x4 journaling cards to create the coffee cup diecuts. I use the coffee clip cut #76882 from the Silhouette Design store. The coffee cup bands were made the same way from more of the 3x4 cards to display several of the sentiments from both collections. This way I offset the soft colors from the coffee cuts with the coffee cup bands.

The flower diecuts were taken from the floral cluster images on several of the journaling cards. Using my Cameo software I was able to get the floral diecuts and add the surrounding white edge.

I used the note paper 3x4 journaling card and the floral print 8x8 paper for the “Thanks a latte” tags. To create the tags  I used the cut #60574 from the Silhouette design store.

To add a little pop of blue I used the Lollipop embellishment from the Love Bites element sheet as a cup topper and a candy add on. They coordinate perfectly with the floral clusters from the 3x4 journaling cards.

The entire process can be seen on my youtube channel from start to finish! Watch below! My cameo did the hard work by cutting everything. I had the fun part of assembling all of the Papercakes goodies.
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
