New Year’s Party Banner & Table Piece By Rachel

Hey everyone, Rachel here... How you all doing? I hope everyone has had a really nice Christmas. I sure have, I love Christmas. All the lovely lights and decorations…but I also like it when it is time to take them all down and pack everything back up. Getting my house and myself ready for the brand new year ahead of me. But before I make that clean break…I have swapped out some of my Xmas decorations for some New Year decorations…to match the festivities at the moment. Creepy Xmas Lightbox and Project Life Spread by Amador

Hello Amador here! Today I created two projects with pieces from Papercakes' Creepy Xmas collection. I created some "Making Christmas" lightbox inserts and a Project Life 6x8 page!  The Creepy Christmas lightbox inserts were printed on printable acetate. I used several of the pieces from the Creepy Xmas element sheet to create my inserts.  Here is how it looks like with the light box off: Here is how it looks like with the light box on:  For the Project Life 6x8 page I also used many accent pieces from the Creepy Xmas element sheet and several 4x6 cards. Before I created this project, I was researching 'The Elf on the Shelf' tradition to start for my children... which give me the idea to combine ‘The Nightmare before Christmas' with ‘The Elf on the Shelf’…which became ‘Sandy Claws’ on the shelf. At first I wasn't sure how I...

Treat Boxes with Amador

Hi everyone, Amador here and today I created some sweet treat boxes for my first Papercakes Design Team project!  I created these treat gable boxes with heavyweight card stock in black and white. They are cut out with the Momenta Gable Box die. You need two of the same cut to create 1 whole box.  After assembling the simple box I layered cuts from the Snow Day and Creepy Christmas element sheets to give it a background on all four sides.  The adorable embellishments from the sticker page are all cut out with a small white boarder to give it...

Creepy Xmas Flip Book By Taylor

Happy Holidays! My name is Taylor and I am so honored to be working with Papercakes! Today, I am so excited to share this adorable little flip-bag that I made with you! I don’t normally do altered projects like this but I was so inspired to use the new Papercakes Christmas goodies! Christmas is by far the most wonderful, and my favorite time of the year so I’ve been super excited for all the Christmas crafts. For my first Christmas project of the year I started with just a plain, brown paper lunch sack and folded it flat. This made...
