Hi friends! Dani from PopFizzPaper here and today I'm sharing a sweet treats project with you! I'm always down for some donuts (but who isn't though, if we're being really real), so I thought it would be fun to turn them into a little party situation! Make sure to stick around to the end of the post, there is a process video for you if you'd like to see how this project came together.
To get started, I used the Deadly Desserts stamps and my Versafine ink to stamp out the cupcake topper images, as well as the little hearts and bow. I colored in the images with Tombow markers, then used the Deadly Desserts dies to cut the images out.
I created flags by adhering leftover Papercakes papers and stickers from previous projects onto toothpicks with the glue dots and runner. I used scissors to create flag shapes, then layered on Papercakes bits from various collections.
Because all of Serena's collections are designed to work together, I was able to go through all of my Papercakes stash and pull out various elements that would work for this project. I really enjoyed being able to use older collection elements with newer ones!
DONUT PARTY GOALS. I love how this whole project came together! I even added some purple frosting and sprinkles to really have some fun with it. I have several flags leftover, and you can bet I'll use them as an excuse to have another donut party soon.
And that is it for today's blog post and video share! How are you using Papercakes for your party crafts? Tag and follow me @popfizzpaper on INSTAGRAM and YOUTUBE to so I can check out your projects. Thanks for reading, and have an awesome day!
