Hi friends! Dani from PopFizzPaper here and today I'm sharing a Mother's Day card I made for my mom using several Papercakes collections and the Deadly Desserts stamps and dies. Keep reading to see close up pictures!
Here are the supplies I'm used for these pages:
For my card background, I used pink on pink heart Love Bites paper. The larger Deadly Desserts heart stamp was perfect for adding some holographic embossing for a bit of extra detail. The powder I used has a clear base, but really sparkles when the light hits it just right!
I used my die-cut machine to cut out the word "lovely", then embossed it with the same holo powder. I also die-cut some frame shapes out of various Papercakes papers and layered them in the center of my card. I adhered a photo of my mom and my son when he was a baby behind the blue frame, since I knew that one would be the most attention grabbing of the frames.
For the 3D hearts, I first heat embossed a piece of scrap Papercakes paper, then I used the Deadly Desserts heart dies to cut out the hearts. I used foam dots to pop them up off the front of the card. I like how they add dimension and interest to the card, without distracting from the most important part of the card - the photo.
And that's it for today's blog post! Do you make cards? I definitely recommend the Deadly Desserts stamps and dies if you do, they are super versatile (and on sale now!). Make sure to tag and
