altered box of chocolates altered project design team element sheet gifts for him love bites love bites collection made by taylor man gifts papercrafting valentine's day valentine's day box of chocoloates
I hope you guys had a wonderful Valentines Day. I normally don't care for this cheesy and overdone holiday so I try to avoid it BUT I also didn't want to show up empty-handed for my Valentine's date. I wanted to make him something sweet but he isn't really one for sweets,I wanted to buy him something nice but he is impossible to shop for; so I needed a fast project (miss procrastination waits till the day of) and it needed to be something he would actually enjoy and use. And who doesn't enjoy a nice cocktail?! So I threw together this little guy... And it works perfectly with this week's theme of Something Sweet!
I used the Love Bites Elements to decorate the chocolate box and well as a heart paper from the Black Hearts paper pack.
You can see how I put this project together and how I decorated it in this process video.
Pick a chocolate box that's big enough to hold a few mini bottles.
Remove chocolates. Don't eat them all
Cut out plastic liner.
Arrange bottles. Stock with his favorite liquor to show him you care.
Cut apart single pieces of the liner to fit between bottles and glue down.
Decorate the cover. I used the Papercakes Love Bites Collection (use whatever or don't! Do you boo, boo)
This is a great way to spruce up those predictable little chocolate boxes! They make great GALentines gifts as well. I made this mini one for my cousin!
I hope you enjoyed and if you want to see more of my projects you can check me out on Instagram and Youtube.
