Hi friends! Dani from PopFizzPaper here and today I'm sharing a fun creepy cute mini album for a penpal that I made using oldie but goodie Papercakes collections. Keep reading to see close up pictures!
Here are the collections I used for this project:
For my mini album, I went with a black and white theme! Serena's collections always have some black and white patterns in them, so having black and white throughout kept my album looking cohesive.Â

To add some color, I used the Spooky Pastel collection as well as a little bit of Snow Day. I chose mostly pinks, purples, and blues because those are some of my favorite colors to pair with a black and white color scheme.
I think it's really fun to add different textures and types of pages in mini albums. Here you can see a photo pocket page I made using my Fuse tool. I used washi, a Papercakes sentiment, and sequins to add some dimension.Â
A goodie bag is also fun to put into a mini album, especially if you're sending it to a penpal! I used a vellum envelope to add some embellishments I think my penpal will enjoy.Â
I also like adding pockets to my albums for journaling or including mementos. Here I've die cut some tags from the collections and slid them into this pocket. My penpal can use them to journal on the back, or even in their own projects!Â

And finally a silly selfie because happy mail isn't quite complete without one! I used my Cinch by Heidi Swapp to bind everything up and that's it! Do you make mini albums? Make sure to tag and
follow me @popfizzpaper on INSTAGRAM and YOUTUBE, as well as @papercakes_ so I can check out your projects. Thanks for reading, and have an awesome day!Â
