I am so excited that spring is finally here in Northern California! The weather has been so nice and I have been itching to get my garden going and plant some flowers. I headed to my local home improvement store and picked up some vegetables and some pretty flowers. My little flowers needed a cute little home so I decided to make some cute flower pots for them (until I get my raised beds all set up). I used the Slay It Girl cards and Paper sets to cut out the icons from the collection.
I painted some terra-cotta pots with some black and pink spray paint. Once the pots were dry, I mod-podged some of the adorable flowers (from the Slay it Girl collection) on to the flower pots. When they were completely dry I transplanted some herbs and some beautiful marigolds into them. Now, I am so excited for spring and summer (my favorite season)!
