Hey Guys, Rachel back again with a Papercakes Design Team Project J
Spring is here and Easter is around the corner, so for this week’s project I have created some super quick and super easy Spring/Easter Themed treat boxes to give the kids for Easter (along with their chocolate eggs of course).
I made 4 different kinds of boxes and baskets because I couldn’t choose just one and wanted some variety. I used the papers from the Slay It Girl collection because they have a lot of floral elements and a spring feel to them but for the Carrot Treat Boxes I needed some orange elements, So I grabbed a few papers from Serena’s first ever collection Jeepers Creepers collection.
Carrot Treat Box
I really love how cute these little Carrot Treat boxes turned out. The orange, black and white papers I used for this are actually from Papercakes first Halloween collection, Jeepers Creepers. This is another reason why I love Papercakes papers, the designs are so versatile. Who would of thought you could use a Halloween collection to make an Easter project!
Mini Spring Themed Basket
These little Easter baskets are absolutely adorable and super easy to assemble. You don’t even need any glue. You assemble it all together with just a couple of brads. I used the floral designs from the Slay It Girl 8 x 8 papers and journaling cards to create these and WOW I just love them.
Rabbit Treat Box
I used the pastel pink designs from the Slay It Girl collection for these little treat boxes. I love the one with the 2 shades of pink triangles meeting in the middle where the sliver glitter rabbit is.
Egg Shaped Treat Box
These were properly the most fiddly to assemble but still really easy and quick. I used a mixture of 8 x 8 papers and journaling card designs from the Slay It Girl collection. I love love love the polka dot designs and they have a real Easter feel to them.
If you would like to see how easy these were to put together I have a process video here for you. You will find the links to the silhouette cut files in the description box if you want to create your very own treat boxes for your family and friends.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you decide to make your own spring/Easter treat boxes. If you do I would love to see them. Stop by my Instagram and tag me!
